NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15
Notice of proposed development/works at (a) Spring Mill, Stoney Bank Road, Earby. 25/0270/VAR Variation of Condition: Vary Condition 2 (Plans) of Planning Permission 22/0848/FUL. The proposal is a Major Development. (b) Land to the Rear of The Greyhound Inn, Manchester Road, Barnoldswick. 25/0266/VAR Variation of Condition: Remove Condition 4 (Removal of holiday let restriction to use as a dwelling) of Planning Permission 21/0666/FUL. The proposal is within the Calf Hall and Gillians Conservation Area and the Barnoldswick Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (c) 39 Victoria Road, Earby. 25/0053/FUL Full: Relocation of existing shopfront door from front elevation to side elevation. The proposal is within the Earby Conservation Area. (d) Former E.L.E. Advanced Technologies Ltd, Cotton Tree Lane, Colne. 25/0277/VAR Variation of Condition: Vary Condition 2 (Plans) of Planning Permission 22/0453/FUL. The proposal is a Major Development. (e) Children’s Nursery, Brook Farm, Harden Road, Kelbrook. 25/0256/FUL Full: Change of use from a children’s day nursery (Use Class E(f) to a Café bar (Sui Generis). A Public Right of Way is adjacent to the proposal. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 16 May 2025. Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 16 May 2025; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (
under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
