Notice Under Articles 8 And 9(2)

Purpose of this notice: this notice provides the opportunity to comment directly to the developer on a proposed Development of National Significance (DNS) prior to the submission of a planning application to the Welsh Ministers. 

Planning applications for DNS will be publicised by the Welsh Ministers and the relevant local planning authority; any comments provided in response to this notice will not prejudice your ability to make representations to the Welsh Ministers on any related DNS planning application. 

You should note that any comments submitted may be placed on the public file.

Proposed development at Land at Mynydd Ty-talwyn, between the A4063 and New Road, Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot

I give notice that Galileo 03 Limited
is intending to apply to the Welsh Ministers for planning permission in respect of Development of National Significance which is for the Installation of an Energy Park comprising: up to 6 wind turbines and ancillary infrastructure including turbine foundations, crane hardstandings and erection areas; Solar PV Panels and ancillary infrastructure including invertors and transformers; battery energy storage system compound and ancillary infrastructure; substation compound and ancillary infrastructure including control building; fencing and CCTV; upgraded and new access tracks, watercourse and pipeline crossings, highway junctions and highway remedial works; underground cabling; associated construction enabling earthworks; associated drainage; landscaping, ecological mitigation/enhancement; temporary construction compounds; and, other associated ancillary works/infrastructure.

Pre-application consultation will commence on Saturday 26th April 2025 

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this proposed development must write to the applicant/agent at mtt@galileoempower.uk  or Freepost MYNYDD TYTALWYN (no stamp required) by 23.59 Sunday 8th June.
