FOR PROPOSED BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (BESS) DEVELOPMENT ON LAND SOUTH OF THE A40, WITNEY BYPASS, WITNEY, OXFORD, OX29 7UJ.

WEDNESDAY 30TH APRIL 2025, 4–7PM, CONSULTATION DROP IN EVENT AT SOUTH LEIGH VILLAGE HALL, CHURCH END, SOUTH LEIGH, OXFORDSHIRE, OX29 6UR

Sustainability Unlimited LLP, on behalf of their client Voltwise Power Holdings Limited, are exploring the potential for a new Battery Energy Storage System on land South of the A40, Witney Bypass, Witney, Oxford, OX29 7UJ. The proposed development will utilise c4 acres of land which could power up to 450,000 houses and will also contribute to national net zero targets.

We are keen to engage with the local community as part of our pre-application consultation process and will be in attendance on the above date to chat and answer any questions. Comments made to Sustainability Unlimited LLP are not comments to West Oxfordshire Planning Authority and there will be full statutory opportunity for interested parties to submit comments direct in relation to any subsequent planning application that Sustainability Unlimited LLP decide to proceed with.
