Application Proposals: The development of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), comprising a 500 megawatt (MW) battery storage facility with associated infrastructure, access and landscaping, with a connection into the Culham Jet National Grid substation

Site Location: Land to the north of the Culham Science Centre Thame Lane near Clifton Hampden OX14 3GY

Proposed work may affect character/setting of Conservation Area and setting of a Listed Building. Proposal accompanied by an Environmental Statement. Major Development. Proposal may affect a Public Right of Way.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that amended plans and additional information has been received in respect of the above mentioned application, which is also the subject of a planning appeal (Planning Inspectorate (PINS) Reference APP/Q3115/W/24/3358132

Members of the public can inspect a copy of the amended plans and additional information relating to the appeal on the Council’s website, http://www.southoxon.gov.uk/.

Comments can be made online, via email to registration@southandvale.gov.uk or by post to Planning, South Oxfordshire District Council, Abbey House, Abbey Close, Abingdon, OX14 3JE.

Comments are not confidential, will be available for both inspection with copies of all representations received to be sent to PINS for the attention of the Inspector determining this appeal.
