What is planned?

Notice Is Hereby Given that the District Council has received applications for planning permission, Listed Building Consent, a Departure, Major Development, Significant Development, or which may affect a Public Right of Way, as the case may be, for developments as briefly described in the following schedule. 


MO/2024/2003/ PLAMAJ: Newdigate Place, Partridge Lane, Newdigate, Dorking, RH5 5BP: Erection of detached annexe.


MO/2025/0389/LBC & 0390/PLA: Betchworth Quarry, The Quarry, Betchworth, RH3 7BP Change of use from commercial vehicle maintenance and repairs (Sui Generis) to a flexible Class E Commercial, Business and Services to E(g) Uses which can be carried out in a residential area without detriment to its amenity: E(g) 

(i) Offices to carry out any operational of administrative functions, E(g) 

(ii) Research and development of products or processes, E(g) 

(iii) Industrial processes, and B8 Storage or distribution. Re-clad existing sheds for ancillary office use and create a new toilet block. 


MO/2025/0462/PLAMAJ: Land at & to the rear of Two Ways, Oxshott Road, Leatherhead, KT22 0EG: Removal of existing structures, hardstanding and vegetation and construction of 47 No. residential dwellings (Class C3), with associated gardens and vehicular and cycle parking, alongside the provision of hard and soft landscaping including tree planting, and highways and drainage infrastructure. 

MO/2025/0484/PLA: Stocks House, 9, North Street, Leatherhead, KT22 7AX: Construction of an additional storey at roof level to provide 2 self contained flats. 

MO/2025/0489/PLAHH: 47, Rothes Road, Dorking, RH4 1LG: Replace damaged front door. Replace unrepairable aluminium-framed double-glazed windows. 

MO/2025/0497/PLA: 21, Rear of 4, Bridge Street, Leatherhead, KT22 8BZ: Erection of 2 No. two storey dwellings with access from the existing under croft from Bridge Street, and associated cycle and bin storage.

MO/2025/0502/PLAHH: 86, The Little House, Church Street, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT22 8ER: Erection of a single storey side extension, replace the existing window to the front to the original main entrance door, replacement of timber box guttering system with ogee guttering.

MO/2025/0509/PLA: 138, South Street, Dorking, RH4 2EU: Replace existing glazed timber sash windows with the installation of 19 No. white woodgrain-effect uPVC double-glazed vertical sliding sash windows, all of which will be non-bar. Removal of the existing secondary glazing on the ground floor. 

MO/2025/0516/PLAHH: 22, Howard Road, Dorking, RH4 3HP: Basement conversion to be underpinned, erection of a ground floor rear extension with double glazed sash windows and double glazed french doors and 2 No. roof lights, the garden to be renovated and landscaped. 

MO/2025/0520/PLAHH: 42, Hart Road, Dorking, Dorking, RH4 1LA: Erection of single storey side and rear extension.
