What is planned?
(HIGH STREET, ROCHESTER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and associated highway maintenance works to be carried out-
High Street, Rochester - the left turn lane between west of the junction with Furrels Road and the junction with Star Hill to be closed to all westbound vehicular traffic. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Corporation Street and Commercial Road.
This Order will come into force on Thursday, 1 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 1 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within one night (with works taking place between 7pm and 7am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(COOLING COMMON, CLIFFE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new fibre optic cable to be installed -
Cooling Common, Cliffe - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Merryboys Road and across the frontage of Merryboys Lodge. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Town Road and Station Road.
This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 14 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 14 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(CAZENEUVE STREET, ROCHESTER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -
Cazeneuve Street, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 14 Cazeneuve Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via East Row, Union Street and King Street.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 27 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 27 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within four days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(CAVENDISH AVENUE, GILLINGHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas supply works to be carried out -
Cavendish Avenue, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 8 Cavendish Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Portland Road or Granville Road.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 6 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 6 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within eight days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new fibre optic cable to be installed
Perry Hill, Cliffe - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Merryboys Road and across the frontage of 4 Perry Hill. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Cooling Street, Cooling Common and Merryboys Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 12 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 12 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within two days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Camden Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 1 Camden Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via an alternative route will be provided and signed.
