The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Ashton In Makerfield Town Centre

A/25/098670/CU 13 Wigan Road Ashton-in-makerfield Wigan WN4 9AR. Change of use of first floor to create self-contained flat, new entrance to front to create access to flat, new shop front and roller shutter to front together with associated external alterations including replacement timber windows at first floor to front, render to front and new window opening to rear. A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.

Wigan

Variation of condition 2 of previously approved A/23/96568/MAJOR to allow for amended location plan and amended site layout. The proposed development does not accord with the provisions of the Development Plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated. The proposed development affects a Public Right of Way.
