At Phoenix Chamber 1 & 2, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, EX16 6PP with the facility to participate virtually 

Opening on 20th May - 23rd May (consecutive) at 10:00am, and 3rd June - 5th June (consecutive)

REASON FOR INQUIRY
Appeal by Tidcombe Holdings LLP

Relating to the application to Mid Devon District Council for Outline for the erection of up to 100 dwellings to include the conversion of Tidcombe Hall and outbuildings, provision of community growing area, public open space, associated infrastructure, ancillary works and access with all other matters reserved at Tidcombe Hall Tidcombe Lane Tiverton Devon. Application no. 24/00045/MOUT 

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening on the date shown above to decide the appeal. 

The Inquiry will be held as an in-person event with the facility to participate virtually.

Anyone wishing to attend the inquiry must make that interest known to the Local Planning Authority (LPA) as soon as possible prior to the Inquiry, either by email appeals@middevon.gov.uk or telephone 01884 234262 after reading the Inquiry Attendance Information set out below. 

This is of particular importance given the high level of public interest in this appeal and to manage seating within the venue. 

When contacting the LPA, it would be helpful if you could confirm whether you want to take an active part in the proceedings or anticipate attending just as an observer (see below).

If you, or anyone you know has a disability and is concerned about facilities at the inquiry venue, you should contact the council to confirm that suitable provisions are in place.

Before deciding whether to take an active part in the Inquiry, you need to think carefully about the points you wish to make. All written submissions from application and appeal stage will be taken into account by the Inspector and re-stating the same points won’t add any additional weight to them.

Please note as the Inquiry is being held as a hybrid event the Local Planning Authority may be either live streaming or recording the event.
