Notice of Pre-Application Consultation (PAC)
In accordance with the Regulations, public consultation is being undertaken by Leiths (Scotland) Ltd in advance of the submission of a planning application to Aberdeenshire Council for a proposed development at Middleton Farm (X (Easting): 393222, Y (Northing): 815368/Grid Reference: NJ 93222 15368) comprising the extraction of sand and gravel.

A Public Consultation event will be held on Monday 28th April 2025 from 13:00 – 18:00 at Potterton Community Centre, Laingseat Road, Potterton, AB23 8UE, where the proposal will be presented, and the local community will be provided with the opportunity to ask questions and provide comment.
Comments on the proposal following the event may also be made to Johnson Poole and Bloomer by telephone, email or by mail. Comments should be received no later than Monday 12th May 2025.
A further in person consultation event to provide feedback following the first event will be held on Monday 19th May 2025, from 13:00 – 18:00, at Potterton Community Centre, Laingseat Road.
Please note that this is a Pre-Application Consultation and that any comments made at this stage should be directed to the Applicant, through Johnson Poole and Bloomer, and will be considered in the finalisation of the planning application. It should also be noted that comments made to the Applicant are not representations to the Planning Authority. When the Applicant submits the planning application to Aberdeenshire Council, there will be an opportunity for interested parties to view the finalised proposal and to make representations to the Planning Authority at that time.
