Notice under regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant East Dunbartonshire Council are proposing a major planning application for the development of a cemetery, soft and hard landscaping, access, parking and associated development on land to the east of Cole Road and south of Kirkintilloch Road, Cadder, Bishopbriggs.

In order to share information on the proposals and gather community views, a community drop-in event will be held at Bishopbriggs Library, 170 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 2LX on Thursday 24th April 2025 between 15:00 and 19:30.

Project information will be available to view and comment upon with the design team in attendance. An online virtual exhibition will be available from 16th April through to 1st May at

Comments can also be made via the associated survey on this webpage.

This notice does not relate to a lodged planning application. Comments made are not official representations to the planning authority but will be recorded in a report to the Council. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to East Dunbartonshire Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
