What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be listed under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA25/26842/FUL

Proposal: Full planning for a change of use of barn to 2no dwellings for High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre Ltd

Location: Woodside Farm Keighley Road Cowling BD22 0AE

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/26862/HH

Proposal: Householder application for proposed single storey extension to North elevation and internal alterations for Ewan & Samantha Sneddon & Head

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Proposal: Householder application for proposed re-roofing for Mr J Buchanan

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Proposal: Listed building consent for integrated solar panels to rear elevation of garage roof and solar panels to rear elevation of study roof for Alex and Amanda Hawkes

Location: Brigstone House White Hill Lane Lothersdale BD20 8HX

Reason: Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Proposal: Householder application for demolition of existing garage and construction of new garage for Mr Lee Nichols

Location: Mistral End Barn Thornton Heights Thornton in Craven BD23 3TJ

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Is a proposal for demolition of an unlisted building in a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/26850/FUL

Proposal: Full planning permission for the demolition of former depot and construction of 3no 2 storey dwellings for Mr and Mrs EW Brierest

Location: Land South of Stone Bank Main Street Conley BD23 6JN

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/26149/PPP (14 day consultation, comments required by 28th April 2025)

Proposal: This application seeks permission in principle for construction of 1no dwellinghouse within the cartilage of an existing private drive for Mrs Lucinda Mullin

Location: Land at Church Lane Church Lane East Marton BD23 3LR

Reasons: Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA25/26837/SFL

Proposal: Full application for part non-permeable hard surfacing to re-point retaining wall for Yorkshire Water Services Ltd

Location: Embankment to Carr Head Mill Wright Mill Road Carleton BD23 3GZ

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Listed Building.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 3rd May 2025.
