What is planned?
(U575N CAULSTRAN ROAD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U575n between No.58 and No.62 Caulstran Road, Dumfries, from 0900 to 2100 on 22/04/25.
The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water ironwork repairs. Alternative route available via Caulstran Road, Caulstran Street, Caulstran Road and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(A711 JOHN STREET, DALBEATTIE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close A711 John Street, Dalbeattie between Barhill Road and Station Road junctions from 0900 on 21/04/25 to 1700 on 16/06/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate carriageway strengthening works. Alternative route available via A711, B794, A75(T), U225n, A711 and vice versa.
Emergency access will not be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(C201N MOFFAT ROAD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close C201n Moffat Road, Dumfries near junction to Marchhill Drive, from 1800 on 22/04/25 to 0600 on 23/04/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water lead renewal works. Alternative route available via Edinburgh Road, Lovers Walk, St Mary’s Street, Moffat Road and vice versa. Emergency access will not be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U376N HOLM ROAD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
No. 2 ORDER 2025 The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U376n Holm Road, Dunscore between C37n junction and B729 junction from 0800 to 1600 on 22/04/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate septic tank emptying. Alternative route available via C37n, B729 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
