What is planned?

Notice is hereby given that the TANDRIDGE DISTRICT COUNCIL has received the following applications for planning permission or which affect a listed building, conservation area, Tree Preservation Order, public footpath/ bridleway or major development. Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 - notice under article 15, & planning (listed building & buildings in conservation area) regulations 1990, & town & country planning (environmental impact assessment) regulations 2017 - notice under article 25

2024/1316 - Land North of Effingham Road RH10 3HY.
Change of use of land to Showmen’s Permanent Quarters (4 plots) comprising chalets/caravans & area for storage of rides and equipment (maximum height of 4.5metres), testing and maintenance area together with associated boundary works including, amendments to vehicular access, provision of hardstanding, 1.2 m (high) post and wire fence, 2 metre (high) security perimeter fencing and landscaping.

Outline application for the development of up to 80 dwellings, a new school parking & pick-up/drop-off area, open space, and associated landscaping (Outline application with all matters reserved except access, layout & scale).

2025/268 - The Old Rectory, Sandy Lane, Bletchingley.
Erection of Oak framed Garage with first floor space for existing business use following removal of existing buildings.

2025/319 - Holloway Meadow Stables, Tanhouse Road, Oxted.
Variation of Condition 2 (Plans) of planning permission ref: 2024/820 (Demolition of existing buildings and removal of existing hardstanding. Erection of single storey dwelling & permeable gravel driveway) to enable internal changes to the layout.

2025/344 - Farm Estate, Eastbourne Road, Newchapel.
Change of use of land from agriculture to a development of 10 plots for travelling show people with associated access & landscaping.
