What is planned?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Any vehicle travelling on Old Wokingham Road from the junction with Easthampstead Road northbound for 300m.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Old Wokingham Road, B3430 Nine Mile Ride, A3095 Crowthorne Road, A3095 Mill Lane, Ellesfield Avenue Peacock Lane and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while BT renew and replace a frame and cover in the carriageway.
The Order came into operation on the 10th April 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the closure will be in place between 10th April 2025 until 14th April 2025.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
