What is planned?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Church Ln, Radnage) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church Ln for approx. 170M. Alternative route: Radnage Ln, Chinnor Rd, Wigans Ln, Loxborough Hill, Bottom Rd, Bennett End Rd, Town End Rd, Church Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water repair to leaking main works commence on 14 April 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Missenden Bypass, Great Missenden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Missenden Bypass for approx. 323M. Alternative route: A413, A41, A4146, A413 and vice versa. The closure is required whilst failed road resurfacing works commence on 25 April 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 April 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Chequers Ln, Prestwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chequers Ln for approx. 386M. Alternative route: Moat Ln, High St and vice versa. The closure is required whilst plane and patch works commence on 14 April 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Public Footpath No.2/1, Parish of Stoke Poges) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.2/1 Parish of Stoke Poges, which commences at the junction with Fir Tree Avenue (north) and continues south for the entire length to the junction with Muddy Lane.

The closure is required in the interest of public safety.

Alternative route is provided from Fir Tree Avenue (from existing gate) along the northern and eastern boundary of the site (former Golf Course) exiting on Stoke Road which the diversion heads west along Muddy Lane.

The Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
