The following planning applications can be inspected during office hours at the Council Offices, Gloucester Road, Tewkesbury, GL20 5TT or at www.tewkesbury.gov.uk. \
Representations should be received by 01/05/2025. Comments will be available for public inspection.
Down Hatherley 23/00605/APP, Application for the approval of reserved matters pursuant of outline 21/00976/ OUT for residential development (up to 160 dwellings) & associated works including demolition, infrastructure, open space & landscaping with vehicular access from the A38. Land Off Brook Lane Twigworth.
Uckington 16/02000/OUT, Outline application for up to 4115 new homes providing a range & choice of mix & tenure, including affordable housing (C3) & elderly persons accommodation (C2/C3 up to 200 units), 24 ha of employment generating uses including 10 ha B1 business park (up to 40,000 sqm), a hotel (C1 up to 200 rooms) & mixed use centres providing retail uses & community facilities (A1 - A5 up to 6,150 sqm, D1/D2 up to 3,000 sqm), a transport hub & public transport inter change, primary & secondary school education (D2), new areas of green infrastructure including areas of play sports hub, woodland planting, allotments & habitat at creation, creation of new means of access onto Tewkesbury Road & Manor Road, new footways & cycleways & energy & drainage infrastructure. Elms Park Tewkesbury Road.
The application is accompanied by an amended Environmental Statement. Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans, the environmental statement, and other documents submitted with the application during normal office hours in the main reception at Tewkesbury Borough Council, Public Services Centre, Gloucester Road, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. GL20 5TT.
The application plans and documents can also be viewed on the Council’s website at www.tewkesbury.gov.uk./planning Computers are available in the main reception of the Council Offices in order for you to view the plans and Environmental Statement if necessary.
The Offices are open Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and 8.30am - 4.00pm on Friday
Members of the public may obtain copies of the amended Environmental Statement from White Peak Planning, Lynnfield House, 249 Church Street, Altrincham, WA14 4DZ, Tel:0845 034 7323.
A copy of the Non-technical Summary can also be provided from the above address, while stocks last. There may be a charge. Representations can be made during the period until 1st May 2025.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application can make them, in writing, within that period to, Tewkesbury Borough Council Offices, Gloucester Rd, Tewkesbury GL20 5TT, online at www.tewkesbury.gov.uk/planning, and also by email to developmentapplications@tewkesbury.gov.uk. quoting reference no.16/02000/OUT. All representations will be published on our website.
Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act, 1985 your representations will be available for inspection and copying by the public.
