What is planned?

Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 Notice Under Article 15(3) of Application for Planning Permission Accompanied By An Environmental Statement

Application Number: NY/2025/0024/ENV Proposed development at Wensley Quarry, Scarth Nick Road, Leyburn, DL8 4AT. I give notice that Tarmac Trading Limited is applying to North Yorkshire Council for planning permission for Variation of condition No’s 1 & 5 of Planning Permission C1/12/00765/CM for Wensley Quarry to allow for working of permitted mineral within Phases 4, 5 & 6 & continuation of mineral extraction & restoration & that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

Members of the public may view the application, the plans, & other documents submitted with the application at North Yorkshire Council (Richmondshire), Mercury House, Station House, Richmond, North Yorkshire during all reasonable hours until 27/04/25. Please note that this may require a prior appointment. You are advised to check with the Council before making your visit. The application may also be viewed using the Online Planning Register on the Council’s web-site www.northyorks.gov.uk.
