NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leicestershire County Council have submitted further information in relation to the environmental statement submitted under planning application 2023/
VOCM/0019/LCC dated 9 February 2023 for Variation of planning conditions 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12,13,15,16, 18, 19 and 24 of approved planning permission 2018/Reg3Ma/0182/LCC (2018/1204/06), for the construction of a new distributor road and shared cycle/footway around Melton Mowbray. This variation of conditions application seeks approval for the vertical realignment of the approved route, amendments to four of the proposed roundabouts including a reduction in size and repositioning of roundabouts 1-4, the removal of one arm from approved roundabout 2 and an amendment to the pedestrian crossing facility to the west of roundabout 3. The proposal also includes some realignment to the approved cycleway and a reduction in the size and depth of the proposed balancing ponds. at North and East Melton Mowbray Distributor Road, Melton Mowbray. The application site will affect the following Public Rights of Way: E1, E5, E17, E18, E25, F2, F3, F4, Byway D106 and National Route 64. The further information, application, environmental statement, and other submitted documents may be inspected at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RA, at all reasonable hours (0900 to 1700 hours, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays), by prior arrangement. The latest date they will be available for inspection will be 32 days from the date of this press notice. This information can also be inspected on the Leicestershire County Council website: https://leicestershire.planning-register.co.uk, which will be available for at least 32 days from the date of this press notice. A copy of the information is also available for purchase from Martyn Glossop at (martyn.glossop@aecom.com) in digital or paper format for which charge of £100 is applicable.
