Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following applications for development in the Borough of Great Yarmouth, which are hereby advertised.

THE PROPOSALS BELOW ARE ADVERTISED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

  • Gainsborough Court, Shadingfield Close, Great Yarmouth: Application for retrospective permission to vary Condition 2 (approved plans) of pp. 06/17/0447/F (Residential development scheme to form 8 self-contained flats) – To amend development by: increase height to include a new fourth floor and create living space; amend layout and size of flats; install rooflights; remove chimneys; amend design and position of windows, balconies and eaves details; install new front boundary wall; remove side windows; amend parking, landscaping and vehicle access links; provision of bin store (Application No: 06/25/0051/CU/F(1,3)).

  • 26 Repps Road, Martham: Demolition of existing conservatory and erection of single storey rear extension. Demolition of existing garage/outbuilding to the north of 22 Repps Road, and construction of a replacement 3-bay carport. (Application No: 06/04/0043/HH) (3).

  • Britannia Pier, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth: Installation of: 4no. externally illuminated fascia signs, 1no. externally illuminated outdoor roof top LED display sign; 1no. 8m x 2.5m digital display LED media screen (Application No: 06/25/0145/A(1,3)).

    Site Adjacent 44 Sussex Road, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth: Demolition of garages and construction of 2no. 3-bedroomed terrace houses with garaging and an annex/home office (Application No.06/24/0487/F)(1,4).

  • 83 St Georges Road, Great Yarmouth: Removal of existing wooden front porch canopy and pillars; Installation of a replacement metal porch canopy and pillars. (Retrospective) (Application No: 06/25/0114/HH and LB Consent 06/25/0115/LB)(2,3).

Applications can be viewed at www.great-yarmouth.gov.uk. Any comments should be made via the website, or in writing to Great Yarmouth Planning Department, Town Hall, Hall Plain, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2QF or via email plan@great-yarmouth.gov.uk by no later than 11th April 2025 quoting the appropriate application number(s).

All representations will be recorded on a public file, be viewable on the Councils website, and will be referred to the Secretary of State’s inspector in the event of an appeal.
