Publication: 20 March 2025 - The following application has been received by the Council:

Applicant: Welbar Energy Storage Ltd - Ref: PAP/2025/0062

Hams Hall Battery Energy Storage System Site, Kingsbury Road, Curdworth - Proposed underground cable and ancillary electrical works to connect the Battery Energy Storage System approved under planning application ref. PAP/2021/0473 to the Hams Hall National Grid electricity substation at coordinates 419378, 292553. Works include a temporary access track to facilitate construction. 

Reason: Major Development.

The above applications may be viewed at The Council House, South Street, Atherstone. Opening hours are 9.00 am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday or via the Planning Application Search page of the Council's website.

Representations must be made in writing and be sent to the Head of Development Control, The Council House, South Street, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 1DE or emailed to B|planappconsult@northwarks.gov.uk  before 13 April 2025.

Notification of Planning Appeal Inquiry 
Appeal Ref: APP/R3705/W/24/3349391 Land 800 Metres South Of Park House Farm, Meriden Road, Fillongley. Construction of a temporary Solar Farm, to include the installation of ground-mounted solar panels together with associated works, equipment and necessary infrastructure.

Appellant: Enviromena Project Management UK Ltd.

A Planning Inspector, Helen Heward BSc (Hons) MRPTI, has been appointed by the Secretary of State to conduct an Inquiry and determine an appeal.

It will take place at The Council House, South Street, Atherstone on 8 April 2025 at 10am. It is scheduled to take 6 days. 

The public may attend, and at the Inspector's discretion, contribute to the discussion.
