Planning (Listed Buildings And Conservation Areas) Act 1990 – Notices Under Section 67 & 73

Notice is given that the following planning applications have been made.

Application reference: PL/2025/0000230/FUL 

Site address: Coventry University, CV1 5FB 

Proposed development: Installation of new connections from the existing Low Carbon District Heating Network at Coventry University Campus to The Cycle Works Building, Alma Building, Charles Ward Building, The Hub, ECB & Student Centre and Elm Bank Building inclusive of engineering works within highways and associated public realm and associated works including site compound within former Civic Centre site (temporary) 

Reason: The proposal is classified as a major development.


Application reference: PL/2025/0000272/HHA 

Site address: 32 Shaftesbury Road 

Proposed development: Installation of an EV charging point and cable to front elevation 

Reason: The proposed works would affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.


Application reference: PL/2025/0000424/HHA 

Site address: 80 Stanley Road 

Proposed development: Loft conversion with dormer 

Reason: The proposed works would affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area. 


Application reference: PL/2025/0000535/HHA 

Site address: 55 Poplar Road 

Proposed development: Erection of metal fence and gate to front and side 

Reason: The proposed works would affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.
