Applicant: St. Modwen and Midlands Land Portfolio Ltd Site Address: Land To South Of Old Gloucester Road Cheltenham

Proposal: Outline planning application for phased residential development comprising a mixture of market and affordable housing (use class C3), which could include retirement/extra care accommodation (use class C2/C3) a flexible mixed use area with a community hub (including potentially use classes E, F1 and F2), a primary school and children’s nursery, a convenience store (use class E), site clearance and preparation, green infrastructure (including Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace), walking and cycling routes, formal and informal public open space, sports pitch provision, drainage and other associated works and infrastructure, including utilities and highways works, all matters reserved except partially for access.

Notice is given that St. Modwen and Midlands Land Portfolio Ltd are applying to Tewkesbury Borough Council for planning permission for the above proposal. The application is accompanied by an amended environmental statement. Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans, the environmental statement, and other documents submitted with the application during normal office hours in the main reception at Tewkesbury Borough Council, Public Services Centre, Gloucester Road, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. GL20 5TT. The application plans and documents can also be viewed on the Council’s website at www.tewkesbury.gov.uk./ planning Computers are available in the main reception of the Council Offices in order for you to view the plans and Environmental Statement if necessary. The Offices are open Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and 8.30am - 4.00pm on Friday

Members of the public may obtain copies of the amended Environmental Statement from Savills, Embassy House, Queens Avenue, Bristol, BS8 1SB, 0117 910 2200, so long as stocks last, at a charge of £400. The Environmental Statement may also be purchased on CD or USB drive at a cost of £25.00. A copy of the Non-technical Summary can also be provided from the above address, while stocks last.

Representations can be made during the period until 4th April 2025. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application can make them, in writing, within that period to, Tewkesbury Borough Council Offices, Gloucester Rd, Tewkesbury GL20 5TT, online at www.tewkesbury.gov.uk/planning, and also by email to developmentapplications@tewkesbury.gov.uk. quoting reference no. 22/01107/OUT. All representations will be published on our website.

Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act, 1985 your representations will be available for inspection and copying by the public.
