PROPOSAL: Listed Building: Fire damage to Leighton Pumping Station, works comprise of dismantling fire-damaged remains of roof, including timber trusses, purlins and wall-plates, and metal rainwater goods and fittings. Loose brickwork removed from wall top. Protection of wall tops from weather with a sacrificial lime mortar flaunch capping. Reinstatement of all above-ground, three-phase switch gear and pump control systems, including pump control panel. Removal of vegetation from structure. Removal of fire debris from interior of building.

PROPOSAL:           Variation of condition number 21 of planning permission CB/21/05691/RM   (Reserved Matters:    following    Outline Application CB/11/01937/OUT (Mixed development including up to 950 dwellings; a site for a lower school; a local centre comprising retail and community uses; informal open space and country park, incorporating allotments, orchards, new tree and shrub planting, and play areas; and a new halt for the Narrow Gauge Railway (NGR).) phase 2 for 195 dwellings and associated works including, layout, scale, appearance and landscape) Gabled roof style back to Hipped as originally approved under CB/21/05691RM.
