What is planned?

Notice of intended disposal of open space land Local Government Act 1972, Section 123(1), (2A)

Notice is hereby given than Exeter City Council intends to dispose (by way of a lease of 10 years) a 35m2 (approx.) compound, to accommodate a mobile telecommunications mast at St George’s Field, Hamelin Lane, which is effectively open space land available for public recreation.

The site which has planning approval under Ref:24/0701/ PNT will facilitate the demolition and redevelopment for social housing of Rennes House Vaughan Road, which currently accommodates this mast on its roof.

The plan can be viewed on the Councils website at https:// exeter.gov.uk/councilanddemocracy/consultations-andpetitions/public-open-space-disposal/
This is a formal notice given insofar as the above parcel of land consists or forms part of an open space within the meaning of the above Section.

Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing to Exeter City Council, Civic Centre, Paris Street Exeter EX1 1JJ or via email estates@exeter.gov.uk which should be no later than midday on 3rd April 2025.

Any objections will be considered by the Council through appropriate members and officers.
