Planning Permission Is Sought For The Following:

25/0170/FUL/ES: The Hertsmere, 30 Watling Street, Elstree, Borehamwood, WD6 3AA. Extension to existing driving range area with associated change in levels to north, east and west of the driving range and re-configuration of 12th, 16th and 17th holes with associated landscaping. Reason: Major Development in the Green Belt.

25/0227/FUL/TFA: Site Of Former Directors Arms And Garages To Rear Ripon Way, Borehamwood. Demolition of 38 garages and redevelopment of the site to provide 29 dwellings and community floor space (Use Class F2) with associated landscaping, car and bicycle parking, access and other associated works. Reason: Major Development.

24/1663/FUL/LP: Land Adjacent To Larksmead, Barnet Lane, Elstree. Demolition of existing stables and removal of associated hardstanding and the construction of an Integrated Retirement Community (TRC) of 90 extra care units (Use Class C2) with means of access; ancillary communal and care facilities; landscaping and open space; and all other associated works and infrastructure. Reason: Major Development in Conservation Area, Departure from the Local Plan and affecting a Public Right of Way.

Plans may be inspected by visiting our website at www.hertsmere.gov.uk/planning, at the Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood (during normal office hours). Comments in writing, quoting the appropriate reference, to the Head of Planning at the Borehamwood offices within 21 days from the publication of this notice.

Under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any comments you wish to make in relation to this planning application will be held on a statutory register, which will be available for inspection at the Council Offices.

If an appeal is made against the refusal of a householder planning permission, which will be dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
