PLANNING (LISTED BUILDING AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990

I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that the North Norfolk District Council is dealing with the following applications:

Cley-next-the-Sea

  • PF/25/0054 Demolition of existing conservatory and construction of single garden room. Internal and external alterations consisting of blocking door, creation of new door and insertion of rooflight. Removal of modern boundary fencing and erection of new metal railings on the existing yard, western boundary. Removal of existing tree; Wright’s Yard Cottage, Wright’s Yard, Cley-next-the-Sea, Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7TE for Mr & Mrs A Winsor. Reasons: c)

Cromer

  • PF/25/0168 Change of use from dog grooming salon (Use Class E) to one-bedroom residential flat (Use Class C3) – AMENDED DESCRIPTION; 28 Louden Road, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 9ET for Mr Jo Arnold. Reasons: c)

Overstrand

  • PF/25/0219 Demolish single storey side & rear extensions; construction of replacement two storey side extension to form new kitchen and bedroom/bathroom above; 35 Harbord Road, Overstrand, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 0PL for Mr & Mrs B & S Bacon. Reasons: c)

Salthouse

  • RV/25/0239 Conversion of barns to five dwellings without complying with condition 2 as approved plans of planning permission RV/24/0615 (variation of conditions on permission PF/06/1303 for conversion of barns to 4 residential dwellings & erection of doors and windows, rooflights and internal alterations); Land at Salthouse Barns, off the ‘Section 73 Application Statement’; 5 Birch Hill Barns, Purdy Street, Salthouse, Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7AQ for Ms R Asso. Reasons: c)

Stody

  • PF/24/2610 Change of use of land to domestic curtilage, single storey extension with The Cottage and erection of a domestic double garage, home office and store; The Cottage, The Green, Hunworth, Melton Constable, Norfolk, NR24 2AA for Mr Tony Caine. Reasons: c)

Thornage

  • LA/25/0422 Internal and external works including replacement windows and doors in gables to southeast elevation of dwelling, insertion of rooflight in north roof slope of dwelling and replacement of areas of timber cladding. PV panels to south roof slope; The Street, Thornage, Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7QF for Mr Julian Hiscock. Reasons: c)
  • PF/25/0421 Replacement windows and doors in gables to southeast elevation of dwelling, insertion of rooflight in north roof slope of dwelling, installation of solar panel on south roof slope, and replacement of areas of timber cladding. PV panels to south roof slope; The Street, Thornage, Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7QF for Mr Julian Hiscock. Reasons: c)

The reasons for the advertisement are:

  • (a) a major development
  • (b) the application affects a public right of way
  • (c) the application affects the setting of a Listed Building
  • (d) the application affects the setting of a Scheduled Monument
  • (e) the development may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area
  • (f) the application affects a public right of way
  • (g) affects setting of Ancient Monument
  • (h) in the Public interest

Members of the public may inspect copies of applications, the plans, and other documents submitted with them at www.north-norfolk.gov.uk.

Any representations about the applications should be made within 21 days of the date of this notice. Representations must be made in writing and should be addressed to the Development Management Section, North Norfolk District Council.

If an appeal is made against a refusal of planning permission, any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage if it is dealt with on the basis of written representations.
