Drake Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Telecom Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL DRAKE STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Drake Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Drake Street from its junction with Hall Ings to the side of The Court building.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Drake Street (unaffected section), Bridge Street, Vicar Lane, Ebenezer Street, George Street, Leeds Road, Hall Ings and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 17th March 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 25th March 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
