THE CITY OF EDINBURGH TREE PRESERVATION  ORDER NO.225 (40 PARK ROAD)

Notice is hereby given that the City of Edinburgh Council (referred to below as the “Council”) as planning authority in exercise of their powers conferred upon them by Section 160 of the above Act have made the City of Edinburgh Tree Preservation Order No.225 (40 Park Road) (referred to below as the “Order”) in respect of a collection of trees at or around 40 Park Road. The Order takes effect on 20 February 2025. The Order has been made to protect trees within the property which provides a significant amenity to the street scene. The Order can be viewed on the Council’s website (search for ‘new tree preservation orders’). A certified copy of the Order will be deposited at Leith Library, 28-30 Ferry Road EH6 4AE for inspection by any person without payment on Mondays to Wednesdays: 10am-8pm and Wednesdays to Saturdays: 10am-5pm. An electronic copy of the Order can be provided by email free of charge by sending a request to planningtrees@edinburgh.gov.uk

Objections and representations in respect of the Order may be made to the planning authority in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation Order and Trees in Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Regulations 2010. Any objection or representation must be in writing and shall be duly made if it states its grounds, specifies the particular trees in respect of which it is made and is received by the planning authority no later than 1 April 2025.
