TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.7) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of a an irregular shaped eastern part width of Stanstead Road at Stanstead St Margarets in the District of East Hertfordshire. This is to enable development as permitted by East Herts Council, under reference 3/16/2565/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN//E/S247/5822). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Nigel Copping Community Building (Parish Council Notice Board), Hoddesdon Road, Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire, SG12 8GA.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 27 February 2025.
