Proposed development at: Former Shredded Wheat Factory, Broadwater Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL7 1RR

Take notice that application is being made by: RMS (Welwyn Garden City) Limited

For planning permission to: Detailed Planning Application for redevelopment of the former Shredded Wheat Factory site to include for demolition of some existing structures (including part of the Grade II Listed Building complex), and the provision of townhouses (Use Class C3), residential care accommodation for the elderly (Use Class C2) with associated communal facilities, Build to Rent accommodation (Use Class C3) with associated communal facilities, an aparthotel (Use Class C1), a retail and cycle hub unit (Use Classes E and Sui Generis), and the change of use of existing retained buildings to retail, commercial and leisure uses (Use Classes E F2 and Sui Generis with associated cycle parking, car parking, access, landscaping and other supporting infrastructure.

Statement of owners' rights: The grant of planning permission does not affect owners' rights to retain or dispose of their property, unless there is some provision to the contrary in an agreement or lease.

Statement of agricultural tenants' rights: The grant of planning permission for non-agricultural development may affect agricultural tenants' security of tenure.

'Owner' means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years. 'Tenant' means a tenant of an agricultural holding any part of which is comprised in the land.
