NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Notice is hereby given that North Yorkshire Council has received the following:

MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL

Brompton Solar Limited - Land North of Brompton On Swale, North Yorkshire, (ref. no. ZD25/00038/FULL) Full planning permission for a solar farm including associated infrastructure, underground cabling, landscaping and access.

WORKS AFFECTING A LISTED BUILDING

Mr Alex Broster - Black Lion Hotel, 12 Finkle Street, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 4QB (ref. no. ZD25/00043/LBC) Listed building consent for making good, decoration and replacement of furnishings from smoke and heat damage following a fire.

Mr Andrew Thursfield - 10 Bargate, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 4QY (ref. no. ZD25/00031/LBC) Listed building consent for rebuilding of chimney stack and install lead flashing. At present the stack is in unstable and the bricks and pointing are in a very poor condition. There is currently mortar around the base which is in a bad state allowing the ingress of water which is affecting the ceilings and walls of the room below.

Forcett Hall Estate Ltd - The Hall, Forcett Hall Road, Forcett, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL11 7SB, (ref. no. ZD25/00029/LBC) Listed building consent for initial upgrading works to existing servicing and pipework. Existing modern pipework/bathroom fixtures and fittings have been replaced. Stud partitions to form en-suite bathrooms installed. Proposed underfloor heating at ground floor level, new radiators and new boiler within the boiler house.

DEVELOPMENT AFFECTING THE SETTING OF A LISTED BUILDING

Mr James Dye - Home Farm, Hornby, Bedale, North Yorkshire, DL8 1NG, (ref. no. ZD25/00049/FULL) Full planning permission for conversion and extension of existing traditional/redundant farm building to form annex accommodation.

DEVELOPMENT WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA

Peter Callaghan - Prior Lodge, Quakers Lane, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 4AX (ref. no. ZD24/00650/FULL) Full planning permission to replace the existing timber double glazed sash windows with UPVC sash windows.

Mr Stuart Whiteside - Animal Rescue Centre At, The Firby Buildings, Borough Road, Gallowfields Trading Estate, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 4SX, (ref. no. ZD24/ 00618/FULL) Full planning permission for the erection of 3 timber framed, single storey buildings - 2 workshops and 1 office building and a timber framed cycle storage hut (Amended Location Plan added 04 Feb 2025).

Horn/Hall - West Farm, Kirby Hill, North Yorkshire, DL11 7JJ, (ref. no. ZD24/00640/ FULL) Full planning permission for the demolition of existing farm buildings and the construction of five new dwellings.

Ms Louise Raine - Green Howards Road, Richmond, North Yorkshire, (ref. no. ZD25/00054/FULL) Full planning permission for the proposal to create a community bike park in Richmond to enhance outdoor activity provision for young people and families in the area.

Mr Stephen Walsh - Hazeldene, Kirkgate, Middleham, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, DL8 4PG, (ref. no. ZD24/00738/FULL)

Retrospective permission for the fitting of an electrical meter box in the front garden curtilage of the property and planning permission for replacement of windows to first and second floor level to east elevation.

Mr S Straker - Stanwick Arms, High Green, Aldbrough St John, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL11 7SZ, (ref. no. ZD25/00037/VAR) Variation of Condition 1 Attached to Planning Permission 21/00255/FULL for substitution of submitted drawings showing alteration of first floor footprint and provision of walling which screens the side elevation of the entranceway at first floor.
