1. NOTICE is hereby given for the purposes of Section 123 (2a) of the Local Government Act 1972 that The Borough Council of Worthing proposes to dispose of land forming part of Hill Barn Recreation Ground, Hill Barn Lane, Worthing. The land comprises approximately 500 square metres in area.

2. The intended disposal will be by way of the grant of a lease for the redevelopment (in the same location) and occupation of the pavilion.

3. A plan showing the land concerned may be inspected at the Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday (public holidays excepted).

4. Any objections or representations in respect of the proposed grant of the long lease may be sent to Joanne Lee, Solicitor to the Council, The Borough Council of Worthing, Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA, to be received not later than 5.00pm on Friday 28 February 2025.
