What is planned?

HORSHAM DISTRICT COUNCIL
PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990, SECTION 71
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ADVERSANE, COWFOLD AND WEST GRINSTEAD CONSERVATION AREAS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN under the provision of the 1990 Act that Horsham District Council is undertaking a public consultation on the draft conservation area appraisal and management plans for the Adversane Conservation Area, the Cowfold Conservation Area including an extension to its boundary to include the Victorian properties of Maplebank, Arundale, West View and Oakcroft, Henfield Road and the West Grinstead Conservation Area including an extension to its boundary to include all of 1 Fosters Cottages and realign the boundary to the west of Fosters Barn, and to the east of Orchard Cottage.
The public consultation will begin on the 6 February 2025 and closes at 5pm on the 13 March 2025.
Copies of the proposed Conservation Area Appraisals and Management Plans are available to view on the Horsham District Council website. Please visit the web address below:

Hard copies of the documentation are available upon prior request for inspection at Horsham District Council offices; Parkside, Chart Way, North Street, Horsham, RH12 1RL between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
