What is planned?

TAKE NOTICE that the Borough Council has received the following planning applications and listed building consents (LBC) submitted under

The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:
*R/2025/0003/CA: First floor extensions to form two storey side and rear extensions; single storey side extension; demolition of garage; replace with garage and stable; new detached garage with carport and secondary vehicular access with sliding gates at Police House Liverton Road Liverton.

*As the above application is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment.

R/2024/0846/LB: LBC for two storey and single storey rear extensions; bay windows to front; reinstate railings at 35 High Street Loftus.

R/2024/0847/CA: Shopfront alterations including infill extension to front and alterations to side window at 101 Westgate Guisborough.

R/2024/0856/CA: New shop front at 26-26a Bow Street Guisborough.

R/2024/0858/LB: LBC to create new spa facilities including swimming pool; external development to include treatment/relaxation huts at Gisborough Hall Whitby Lane Guisborough.

R/2025/0022/CA: Replacement windows at first floor; new entrance door and repair existing render to front elevation at 26-28 Market Place Westgate Guisborough.

R/2025/0024/CA: New shop front; replacement windows to first floor at The Ship Inn 145 Westgate Guisborough.

R/2025/0027/LB: LBC for replacement roof at Flat 4 2 Balmoral Terrace Saltburn.

R/2025/0035/CA: Replacement windows at front at 104 Westgate Guisborough.

R/2025/0043/LB: LBC for variation of condition 2 (approved plans) on approval R/2022/0718/LB for redevelopment of railway station to include repairs, refurbishment, internal and external alterations at Redcar Central Station Station Road Redcar.

Applications which affect the setting of a Listed Building under Section 67 of The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:

R/2024/0857/CAM: Change of use of part of ground floor to create Spa facilities including swimming pool; external development to include treatment/relaxation huts at Gisborough Hall Whitby Lane Guisborough.

R/2025/0022/CA: Replacement windows at first floor; new entrance door and repair existing render to front elevation at 26-28 Market Place Westgate Guisborough.

R/2025/0024/CA: New shop front; replacement windows to first floor at The Ship Inn 145 Westgate Guisborough.

Applications submitted under Article 15 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015:

** R/2024/0857/CAM: Change of use of part of ground floor to create Spa facilities including swimming pool; external development to include treatment/relaxation huts at Gisborough Hall Whitby Lane Guisborough.

**(The above proposal does not accord with the provisions of the development plans in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated).

R/2024/0790/FFM: Conversion of building to 30 self contained residential units with assoc. parking at Old Station Arms, 18 Old Station Road South Bank.

R/2024/0798/FFM Installation of a solar farm and associated infrastructure at Redcar & Cleveland Off Road Centre, Old Station Road, South Bank.

R/2025/0042/VCM: Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) on planning approval R/2022/0707/F3M for proposed redevelopment of railway station to include repairs, refurbishment, internal and external alterations at Redcar Central Railway Station, Station Road Redcar.

Applications can be viewed on the Council's web site: www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/Planning and documents downloaded if required. 

Anyone who wishes to make representations on the above should make them in writing to the Section within 21 days of the date of this publication. 

Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any representations made are available for public inspection.
