Applicant: Norfolk County Council Highways Project Team

Location: To the east of West Winch Village, King’s Lynn

Proposal: Development of 3.5km of new single-lane access road known as the West Winch Housing Access Road (WWHAR), with a new roundabout junction onto the A47 Walsingham and A47 trunk road providing access to the planned Hardwick Green development. Additional works include: a new roundabout at the northern end where the WWHAR will join the A47, realignment between the WWHAR and the A10/A47 Hardwick Interchange; temporary working areas for road construction including haul routes and two sets of National Grid gas main diversion works including construction compounds and temporary access and working areas; demolition of Hill Cottages on A47 Constitution Hill; construction of drainage basins, swales, and associated maintenance access tracks.

Notice is hereby given that Norfolk County Council has received additional environmental information in respect of the environmental statement submitted with this planning application. The additional information along with the full submission documentation of the original planning application dated 18/03/2024 can now be viewed at the Norfolk County Council website under the reference FUL/2024/0001.

Comments must be received within 30 days (excluding public holidays) of the date of this notice in order to be considered. They must quote the application number FUL/2024/0001 for proper identification.

Copies of the application and the Environmental Statement can be purchased. The cost of the full Environmental Statement is £25.00 for an electronic copy on a USB drive.
