RYE PARISH NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REVIEW 2016-2028
Regulation 16 of The Neighbourhood Planning
(General) Regulations 2012 (as amended)
Rye Town Council, as the qualifying body, has prepared a Neighbourhood Plan for its parish. The Plan proposes a vision for the parish and a number of planning policies to be used in the determination of planning applications locally.
Copies of the Submission Rye Neighbourhood Plan Review and supporting documents will be available online for a period of six weeks commencing on the 24 January 2025 and finishing on 7 March 2025.
The Submission Plan and the accompanying documents can be viewed on the District Council’s website by using the following link: https://www.rother.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/planning-policy/neighbourhood-planning/made-neighbourhood-plans/rye-neighbourhood-plan/
In line with the relevant Regulations and Planning Practice Guidance hard copies of planning policy documents will be made available for inspection. Anyone having problems viewing the documents online, please contact Julia Edwards by email at ryenp.reps@rother.gov.uk or by phone on 01424 787518 to discuss the consultation and seek assistance to view the documents.
Any person, business or organisation may comment on the Plan or supporting documents. These can be submitted online using the relevant form which can be downloaded from the Council’s website (via the link above). Representations on the relevant form may also be made by email to ryenp.reps@rother.gov.uk or by post to Planning Policy, Consultation on the Submission Rye Neighbourhood Plan, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN39 3JX.
All representations must be received by the Council no later than 4.30pm on
Friday 7 March 2023. Any submissions received after this deadline may not be considered.
Please note that all representations will be publicly available and will be forwarded for consideration by the person appointed to carry out an examination of the Plan.
Anyone making a representation may request to be notified of the Council’s decision to ‘make’ the Rye Neighbourhood Plan by ticking the relevant box on the representation form.
