(SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013 & THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING
(PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION) (SCOTLAND) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2021.
Notice under Regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant for proposed development at Land and Quay Walls at Custom House Quay / Clyde Street and Carlton Place / Carlton Terrace, Glasgow, for the following:
"Proposal for public realm and amenity enhancements, replacement and alterations to embankment walls, change of use of building commonly known as ‘Ladies Waiting Room’ to retail, food and drink, leisure or commercial use, erection of new mixed-use pavilion structures accommodating retail, food and drink, leisure, commercial, office, non-residential institution, and sui generis uses, relocation of listed statue, removal of adjoining structures, repairs and making good to listed bridges and surrounding areas, demolition works, with associated landscaping, access and infrastructure, and ancillary works."
A series of consultation events are being held by Glasgow City Council. Two in-person consultation events will be carried out. An initial round of consultation was held on Wednesday 9 October 2024. A second event will be held on Thursday 30 January from 11am - 2pm and 5pm - 8pm at Satinwood Suite, Glasgow City Chambers, 82 George Square, Glasgow G2 1DU. During this time, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions and receive feedback on the proposals.

If you wish to make comments on the proposals shown at the second event, you may do so via a feedback form available at the event or the project website, by email (info@meetourwaterfront.co.uk) or in writing to New Practice no later than Thursday 13 February.
Please note, this notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Glasgow City Council normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
