What is planned?
Liverpool City Council Public Notice Town And Country Planning Act 1990 Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1990
The following applications have been made to the City Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts.
24F/3393 - New Mersey Shopping Park (24) Applicant Speke Unit Trust. To vary conditions 1, 2, and 3 attached to 18F/2852 (To vary condition 2 attached to 15F/0808 (To erect new cinema and restaurants following demolition of existing retail units, reconfigure the B&Q unit, erect new retail units, undertake shop front improvements, erect customer services centre, reconfigure car park and relocate substation, so as to allow existing retail allowances across the retail park to be applied flexibly) so as to provide for revised siting and configuration of new retail units and management suite (in 2 new buildings in the north western part of the existing car park) and revised public realm improvements, revised re- modelling of part of northern terrace and eastern terraces, delete approved freestanding customer services centre and play area and revised reconfiguration of car park including the reduction in the number of approved publically available parking spaces from 1762 to 1640) so as to reconfigure eastern terrace and associated servicing arrangements.
24L/3306 - 34 Hope Street (1) Applicant Mitchells & Butlers Retail Limited. To undertake internal alterations and refurbishment works.
24F/3339- Soho, Concert Square Concert Street (1) Applicant Mr J Motlagh (Pub Invest Group Ltd). To replace existing wooden canopy with new metalwork canopy and associated works.
24F/3356 & 24L/3400 - 9 Canning Street (8) Applicant Angela Carmella. To extend, re-roof and convert garage into an annexe.
24F/2379 and 24L/2381- 8 Sunnyside (8) Applicant Mr David Fitzpatrick (Onward Homes). Installation of a gas boiler flue to the rear and associated internal alterations.
24O/2618 - Bohemians Tennis Club, Queens Drive, West Derby (13) Applicant P. Galvin. To demolish Tennis Club and erect 9 no. semi-detached and terraced single storey dwellings with associated landscaping and parking arrangements and replace 6 no. vehicle parking spaces for adjacent residents **Amended plans**.
24F/3308 & 24L/3310 - 25 And 27-29 Allerton Road, Woolton (25) Applicant Managing Director (Nasitra Ltd) To sub-divide ground floor into 1 no. 1 bed C3 apartment and 2 no. commercial units (within Use Class E(a), E(b), E(c)(i), E(c)(ii), E(c)(iii), E(e), & E(g)(i)) and 1 no. 1 bed C3 apartment at first floor with associated internal and external alterations including new windows and doors, external access staircase and kerb/footpath.
24L/3307 & 24H/3304 - 51 Huskisson Street (8) Applicant R Schack. To carry out repair works to external stairs and lightwell wall, alter fenestration to front, replace windows throughout, repaint existing balustrade, install new balustrade to rear and carry out internal alterations.
23F/2275 - Parkside, 5 Livingston Drive (17) Applicant Emma Riley, Central Property Management Limited on behalf of the Freeholder Parkside Properties. To erect replacement 2 metre high brick wall after demolition of the previous wall **Amended description and plans**.
24F/3219 - 51 Arundel Avenue (17) Applicant A&I Property. To reinstate fire damaged building and carry out alterations to include new roof structure, front and rear gables, insertion of new windows and doors, dormer at rear and change of use from dwelling (Use Class C3) to 1 no. three bed and 1 no. five bed dwellinghouse in multiple occupation (Use Class C4); with associated installation of bike store to rear (Amended description of proposal).
24F/3331 - 24-26 Nelson Street (1) Applicant 24-26 Nelson Street Ltd. To erect 2.5 storey (lower ground to first floor) extension to rear and carry out internal and external alterations in connection with change of use and conversion from a restaurant to a 25-bedroom hotel (Use Class C1) with a restaurant and tea room (Use Class E) on ground and lower ground floors. To erect external stores, landscaping platform lift and external works to rear; install signage and platform stair lift to front.
24L/3332 - 24-26 Nelson Street (1) Applicant 24-26 Nelson Street Ltd. To erect 2.5 storey (lower ground to first floor) extension to rear and carry out internal and external alterations in connection with change of use and conversion from a restaurant to a 25-bedroom hotel (Use Class C1) with a restaurant and tea room (Use Class E) on ground and lower ground floors.

Any comments you want to make must be received by 30th January 2025 and can be made online or in writing to the Director of Planning & Building Control, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH.
In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, for a householder application only, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
