LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH LOCAL PLAN PARTIAL REVIEW

The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended): Publication of the Local Plan (Regulation 19) Monday 13th January 2025 to Monday 24th February 2025

Wandsworth Borough Council Is consulting on the final version of the Local Plan Partial Review (referred to as the 'Publication' or 'Regulation 19' version).

The Council has undertaken a Partial Review of the adopted Wandsworth Local Plan (2023-38) so that Its planning policies, and the decisions made against them, better support the delivery of the types of homes most needed by local residents. Proposals include a target for 50% of new homes to be affordable housing, with at least 70% of new affordable housing to be social rented.

  • The six policies published as part of the Local Plan Partial Review are:
  • Policy LP23: Affordable Housing
  • Policy LP24: Housing Mix
  • Policy LP28: Purpose-Built Student Accommodation
  • Policy LP29: Housing with Shared Facilities
  • Policy LP30: Build to Rent
  • Policy LP31: Specialist Housing for Vulnerable People and for Older People

As the Local Plan Partial Review focuses on affordable housing, all other policies are proposed to remain as they are in the adopted Wandsworth Local Plan 2023-2038.
