Elburton, Plymouth - Proposal To Authorise The Stopping Up Of A Length For Development

The Secretary of State hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of a length of un-named road at Elburton, in the City of Plymouth.

If the Order is made, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable development as permitted by Plymouth City Council, under reference 06/02036/OUT and South Hams District Council, under references 7_49/2426/06/O and 0825/18/VAR.

Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan will be available for inspection during normal opening hours at Plymouth Central Library, Taylor Maxwell House, 167-171 Armada Way, Plymouth PL1 1HZ, in the 28 days commencing on 6 January 2025, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5859) at the address stated below.

Any person may object to the making of the proposed order by stating their reasons in writing to the Secretary of State at nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk or National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR, quoting the above reference. Objections should be received by midnight on 3 February 2025.
