NOTICE PUBLISHED UNDER REGULATION 7(2)

PROPOSAL OF APPLICATION NOTICE

IN RESPECT OF PROPOSED UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW STUDENT RESIDENCES (PURPOSE BUILT STUDENT ACCOMMODATION) (SUI GENERIS) WITH ANCILLARY FACILITIES, GROUND FLOOR COMMERCIAL SPACE (CLASS 1A AND CLASS 3), TOGETHER WITH ASSOCIATED OPEN SPACE, ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT WORKS AND ALL ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE ON LAND AT LILYBANK GARDENS, GLASGOW.

University of Glasgow, the prospective applicant, hereby gives notice of a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) to be undertaken in advance of the submission of a planning application to Glasgow City Council in respect of the above development on land at Lilybank Gardens, Glasgow.

As required by the Town and Country Planning (Development Management) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 (as amended), University of Glasgow will host two events for members of the public where they can make comments on the emerging proposals.

These events will be held on:

• Monday 13th January 2025 (3pm-7pm) and
• Monday 10th February 2025 (3pm-7pm)

at the University of Glasgow, Advanced Research Centre, 11 Chapel Lane, Glasgow, G11 6EW.

This venue lies in close proximity to the proposal site and is accessible to all members of the public.

Any persons wishing to submit comments should submit these to the prospective applicant at:

North Planning & Development, Tay House, 300 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4JR

before Friday 28th February 2025.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority.

If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Glasgow City Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
