THE PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC OPEN SPACE AT THE SITE OF ‘VALEHEAD PARK, HEMSWORTH’
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wakefield is considering the disposal of an area of open space at ‘Valehead Park, Hemsworth’ (13140 m2).
This disposal of POS is by way of the grant of an easement facilitating drainage infrastructure which will benefit the land – the park land will be reinstated, and a new footpath will be established for public use upon completion. The land will remain POS. A copy of the plan indicating the land in question, together with further details, may be inspected on the Wakefield Council website at (https://www.wakefield.gov.uk/business/property-for-sale-or-rent)
and also during opening hours at Wakefield One reception.
Any person having any objection to the disposal should make such objections in writing by emailing Real Estate Management at (pfmservices@wakefield.gov.uk) and quoting reference: (DC/01042). Letters can be sent to Property & Asset Management, Wakefield One, PO Box 700, Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2EB, to be received no later than 16/01/25 and must give full reasons for the objections.
