The Council has under consideration the following applications:
Ref: DMPA/2024/1202 (Major Development) The conversion of existing wedding ceremony venue & hotel accommodation to provide a new 4 bedroom dwelling, the conversion of existing hotel building to provide 9 residential 1 & 2 bedroom apartments & the conversion of existing storage building to 5 bedroom dwelling to include change of use of an area of agricultural land to residential use at Melbourne View Hotel, Station Road, Melbourne
Ref: DMPA/2024/1512 (Affects a Public Right of Way) Retention of a stable & storage building at Templeton House, Unnamed Road From The Green To Radbourne Common, Radbourne
Ref: DMPA/2024/1563 (Affects a Conservation Area) The erection of a single-storey rear extension & new access gate at the rear boundary line at 62 Ashby Road, Melbourne
Ref: DMPA/2024/1585 (Affects a Conservation Area & the Setting of a Listed Building) The erection of two 3 bedroomed dwellings & associated parking & landscaping on Land off Trent Lane, Kings Newton, Melbourne
Ref: DMPA/2024/1590 (Affects a Conservation Area) Conversion of the existing first-floor & ground floor storage areas (including a small section of the restaurant kitchen) into two residential apartments, with associated minor external alterations at 4A Market Place, Melbourne
Ref: DMPA/2024/1591 (Affects a Conservation Area) Conversion of a former restaurant & 2 apartments into 1 dwelling house, 1 apartment with retention of good floor retail unit, with associated minor external alterations at 1a Market Place-4 Potter Street, Melbourne
Applications may be viewed at planning.southderbyshire.gov.uk or during working hours at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH. Any comments must be made in writing, quoting the application reference number, within 21 days of the date of the publication of this notice (not including public holidays)
This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and/or associated subordinate legislation.
