TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No. 48) Order 2024” authorising the stopping up of the unnamed footpath north of the junction of Albert Road and Billberry Close at Whitefield, in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury. This is to enable development as permitted by Bury Metropolitan Borough Council, under reference 69535.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/ S247/5573). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Radcliffe Library, Stand Lane, Radcliffe, Manchester M26 1JA.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 23 December 2024.
