What is planned?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that applications have been made to the BOROUGH COUNCIL of NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME for planning permission for the development set out below: -

Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 Development affecting a Conservation Area /Listed Building

1)Application for approval of a Habitat Management and Maintenance Plan as required by condition 07 of planning permission reference 24/00290/FUL for replacement of existing stepped access to existing fire escape door with proposed ramped & stepped access to the north elevation of the Grade: II Listed Chapel; as well as proposed external landscaping works within the same scheme: including a retaining wall & ‘dug out’ seating area, other above ground seating areas, drainage improvements to lawn, permeable paths and soft landscaping at The Chapel, Keele University, Newcastle, Staffordshire by Mr Neil Flavell. File Ref: 24/00290/CN07. (Grade II listed building)
2)Internal alterations to existing rooms, changes to elevations and two single storey extensions at Bradwell Hall Nursing Home Ltd, Old Hall Drive, Bradwell, Newcastle, ST5 8RQ by Mr James Twigge. File ref. 24/00886/FUL (Adjacent to Grade II listed building)

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2010 Article 13
1) Development of up to 9 no. serviced plots for self-build and custom housebuilding (all matters reserved except access) and New Public rights of way link at Land Adjacent Fairgreen Road Baldwins Gate Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire by Mr And Mrs Davies File Ref: 24/00833/ OUT. (Application includes a proposal for a new public right of way link)

During the period of 21 days beginning with the date of the publication of this Notice you may call in to Castle House Barracks Road Newcastleunder-Lyme ST5 1BL at any time between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.30 pm on weekdays only, or the Customer Services Centre in Kidsgrove Town Hall Liverpool Road Kidsgrove between the hours of 9.00 am to 1.00 pm or 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm on weekdays only, to inspect the application plans and documents. 

Alternatively the applications may be viewed on line at www.newcastle-staffs.gov.uk

Any person who wishes to make representations to the above mentioned Council should make them in writing within that period to the Development Control Manager, Regeneration and Development Services Castle House Barracks Road Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 1BL or e-mail to planningapplications@newcastle-staffs.gov. uk Please bear in mind that any communication you send will be open to inspection by, and may be copied to, other parties.

The Council does not require signatures on letters
