Foster Avenue - Planning Application For Development Management Procedure
What is planned?
THE BROXTOWE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(FORMER BEAMLIGHT FACTORY) DIRECTION 2024
The Broxtowe Borough Council made a Direction on 3 December 2024 under Article 4(1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 that would remove the permitted development rights under Classes A, D and E of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, other than for development in those Classes that creates no floor space.
Planning permission would therefore be required by application for the enlargement, improvement or other alteration of a dwellinghouse (Part 1, Class A), the erection or construction of a porch outside any external door of a dwellinghouse (Part 1, Class D) and buildings incidental to the enjoyment of a dwellinghouse (Part 1, Class E) from the date the Article 4 Direction takes effect, which is 31st March 2025.
The Article 4 Direction applies to the area outlined in red on the map which forms part of the Direction.
