Notice is hereby given that applications have been received by the City and County of Swansea as Local Planning Authority for planning permission for the following developments:
A. DEVELOPMENTS WHICH, IN THE OPINION OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SWANSEA, MAY HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT ON THE AMENITY OF THE AREA IN WHICH THEY ARE SITUATED:
SITE: PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT:
Land To The South West Of Beili Glas Farm Loughor Swansea - Residential development of 97 dwelling comprising 37 affordable dwellings and 60 private dwellings with associated access, landscaping, drainage and associated works - Variation of condition 2 of planning permission 2021/1820/FUL granted 5th April 2022 and 2024/1924/NMA granted on 07/11/24 to allow for changes to the site layout to allow for land level changes (Ref: 2024/1925/S73)
B. APPLICATIONS FOR LISTED BUILDING CONSENT:
SITE: - PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT:
Llys Glas Alexandra Road Swansea SA1 5AJ - Conversion of Llys Glas Student Accommodation into Temporary Supported Accommodation (Class 2A) with associated services and office space to the ground floor. To include new sprinkler, CCTV and fire alarm systems, new access control and door fob systems, sensor lighting to communal areas, mechanical and electrical refurbishment. New doorway on ground floor allowing access from corridor to office, and new secure door to reception office. Upgrade of 5 existing kitchens, and installation of 3 new kitchens in existing bedroom spaces. Washing facilities installed in all existing kitchens (application for Listed Building Consent) (Ref: 2024/2245/LBC)
159A St Helens Road Swansea SA1 4DG Minor external works features to the front, a stone fountain, Gazebo, ornate arch and ventilation units with external ducting to the rear (application for Listed Building Consent) (Ref: 2024/2261/LBC)
