NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE BOROUGH COUNCIL AND THE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:-

Plan No : 2024/0839

Location : 135 Main Street Calverton Nottinghamshire NG14 6FE

Proposal : Remove the existing fireplaces in the lounge and dining room on the ground floor. Remove the plaster from the chimney breasts to understand the fireplace aperture and widen using a lintel if required. Clean the brickwork on the chimney breasts using a soft brush and repoint in lime cement. Install a limestone hearth or the blocks from the lounge floor if enough of them can be salvaged. Install DEFRA approved multi fuel stoves in each fireplace, with a flue liner running through the existing chimney breasts and suitable chimney cowls.

Multi stoves to be fitted by a HETAS engineer and full certification to be obtained. In the opinion of the Borough Council this proposal may materially affect the appearance or character of a Listed Building.

A copy of this application and documents submitted with it may be inspected at the Planning and Environment Department, Civic Centre, Arnot hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham during normal working hours, or on the Council’s website at http://www. gedling.gov.uk. during the period of 14 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Any person who wishes to make representations in respect of this application should do so in writing to the undersigned within the same period.
