REASON FOR HEARING

Appeal by Patrick Gammell against the refusal to grant permission to vary or remove a condition by Central Bedfordshire Council as Local Planning Authority for planning application ref CB/23/00499/VOC, Variation of condition number 3 of planning permission CB/13/03217/FULL (Permission is sought for five additional caravans for Romani Gypsy families on an existing Gypsy site. The site is laid out to six separate sections and permission is sort for an additional static caravan on three of the existing pitches and two caravans (one static) on the land at the top of the site. The new pitch to contain one static caravan, one touring caravan and parking for two vehicles with associated hard standing and water treatment plant) variation for plot 6 details. Appeal lodged against Enforcement Notice ref CB/EN/22/0317 for the following: Without planning permission, the change of use of the Land comprising, unauthorised siting of caravans for residential use as a Gypsy and Traveller Caravan Site and associated development.

Without planning permission, unauthorised operational development, moving a large quantity of soil and the creation of a large earth bund and pouring of concrete on the Land, laying hardstanding for caravans, creation of access road and installation/laying electrical cabling.

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold a Hearing opening on the date shown above to decide the appeal. The Hearing will be held as an entirely In Person event run by Central Bedfordshire Council.

This information will need to be provided to the Planning Inspector.
