What is planned?
Enfield Local Plan 2019-2041 Notice of Commencement of Examination Hearings (Regulation 24) Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended) Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended)
On 6 August 2024, Enfield Council submitted the Enfield Local Plan 2019-2041 to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government In accordance with Regulation 22 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
The Secretary of State has appointed Steven Lee (Hons) MA MRTPI to undertake an independent examination of the Enfield Local Plan 2019-2041.
Enfield Council hereby gives notice that the examination hearing will be held as follows:
Dates & Times of Hearing
Week 1: Wednesday 22 January 2025 (AM and PM), Thursday 23 January 2025 (AM and PM) and Friday 24 January 2025 (AM only).
Week 2: Tuesday 28 January 2025 (AM and PM) and Wednesday 29 January 2025 (AM and PM). Thursday 30 January 2025 (AM only) is reserved as possible 'overspill' sitting day if required.
Hearing sessions will commence at 0930hrs on Wednesday 22 January 2025 and will normally run between 0930hrs and 1300hrs and 1400hrs and 1730hrs each day.
Place
The hearing sessions will be in person at the Civic Centre in Enfield, Silver Street Enfield EN1 3XA.
The hearing sessions are public events and will be available for non-participants and the public to attend (to observe). Limited seating will be available on a first come first served basis.
